Our Story
Mundelein LUNCH was conceived when several local churches met in 2013, seeking a way to work together to meet the needs of our community. Since our first summer in 2014, we have served over 15,000 free, healthy meals in Mundelein parks thanks to our volunteers.
Participating Congregations
Mundelein LUNCH has no explicit religious affiliation or programming.
We serve guests and welcome volunteers without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religious creed, disability, age, or political beliefs.
The following faith communities have committed significant time and resources to organize our efforts in service to our community.
We welcome the participation of other organizations and houses of worship to consider joining our planning team. Leaders who are interested may contact us.
