Team Leader Training for 2018

Mundelein LUNCH is gearing up for our 2018 season – our fifth year of providing kids a healthy meal for FREE every weekday over their summer break. But we can’t do it without our trained TEAM LEADERS.

What is a Team Leader? A Team Leader has completed a brief, annual training session to learn about food safety, the Summer Food Service program rules, and how to complete the necessary paperwork. Each serving site needs one Team Leader every serving day. Completing the training does NOT obligate you to serve as a Team Leader, but it gives you the option to do so.

Because Mundelein LUNCH has had such amazing success, the trainers from the Northern Illinois Food Bank will be hosting a Team Leader training session right here in Mundelein at New Hope Christian Fellowship on Thursday, May 24th at 7pm. If you cannot attend that evening, other dates/times are offered at various locations. Register online at this link.

When you register, you need to answer some questions:
1. What training are you registering for? NEW HOPE CHURCH – MAY 24 / Next
2. Click the box / Next
3. Which SFSP site? Type either GORDON RAY PARK or HANRAHAN PARK. (It doesn’t matter which) Then fill in your name, email address and say NO to anyone else from your site attending. Next
4. Click SUBMIT and you’re registered.

We are always looking for new Team Leaders as well as our seasoned veterans, so please carefully consider whether you can give an extra 90 minutes of your time to this worthwhile program. Thank you for your commitment to Mundelein LUNCH and the children it serves!
